The 100 Mile Club

Can your students run 100 miles… each?

I’ll bet a lot of them can.  This is a great idea to keep your students physically fit.  It’s goal oriented and gets kids motivated!IMG_4770

Here’s how it works:

Make a chart for each Physical Education class.  Have the students run a short distance every day.  Maybe 1/4 mile or even work your way up to a mile a day.  Keep adding a little distance every day and eventually you’ll have many students that can be in the 100 mile club.

Celebrate!  Create a fun shrine to reward them.  Put their name in lights.  Anything to recognize that they’ve done something great.  They’ll remember this for the rest of their lives.

I welcome your comments.
