Think differently and they’ll act differently

Changing the way students THINK is the entire ball game.  Creating a culture of learning and curiosity and compassion can be the most challenging task of any educator.

I saw this sign at a school the other day.  It was hanging in the cafeteria and I found it fascinating.  It says it all.  Here it is:

Read the entire thing when you get the chance.  Each item is well thought out and inspires students to THINK DIFFERENTLY.  I love it!

I would even go further.  You can break this down into segments.  Print them really big and post them throughout the school.

If you’ve read any of my posts, you know that I’m a firm believer in EXPECTED BEHAVIORS.  That is, if you expect students to act a certain way, and you inspire them to do so, in time they will.

I’m sure you can think of many more.  You now have homework.
